easter
We had a moderately big (for my family) get-together at my parent's place. Tara and her family were there of course, and the Kenners is doing better by the day. They all seem so happy to be done with the hard part of the ordeal. Generally, I was talking to Jeff (bro-in-law) about computer games, or my Uncle about films... not to mention the rediculous amounts of food we had. I think we had about three more rounds left in leftovers... crazy Italians.
I took a really long drive yesterday looking for locations for our next film, but came up with jack squat. I know it's surprising to know that it's hard to find undeveloped places in SoCal without a 4x4, but it really is. Looks like we're going to go up to the desert after all. What does this mean? I have no idea, we've never really been able to motivate our friends to come to our house, let alone out in the middle of the desert... looks like we're going to need a few out of work actors. Hell, I'm not even halfway through with the script yet, so it's still a little ways off...

you know...
...you're a geek when you're reading a book on extremely theoretical string theory (is there any other kind?) and you have to skip a few chapters because it's boring. No, not that kind of boring, but boring as in, jesus - I've heard this all a million times now. Who needs to read up on the basics of relativity and quantum physics YET AGAIN. I know he's writing it for the general public, but really... sigh.
Wait! Don't run!

miss june
I'm so in love! She's dark green with gold trim and a gray leather interior... she's got all the amenities (including heated seats), not to mention Bose on the sound system. She's fast and sleek... in a word: bitchen. I've had myself a serious upgrade here folks, I'll post up some pictures as soon as I can take them. More when I'm not in a rush to get to work!

edna
Here's a little riddle: What is ugly, blue with dents, a passanger side door that doesn't work, has 255000 miles, runs like a champ... and has a cracked head? Yeah, you guessed it - Edna.
Meet Edna, she's a 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan - the elite best of the best... in 1993. Oh, and before I start complaining, might I add that the 3.3 pushrod engine coming out of these things from 92-00 is quite possibly one of the greatest things that Chrysler ever did... ok, so anyway, I inheireted this beast from my parents, like Joe - the 86 Mitsubishi Mirage that I drove on three cylinders for a year and a half - for a thousand bucks. What has that thousand bucks gotten me? Four years of amazingly reliable vehicle - in essence, I've gotten away with murder.
So now that she's terminal, I'm scared that 1) my financial situation is about to get desperate and 2) I'm going to get a lemon. Not having a reliable car in Southern California is like not having a reliable organ in your body. It's the death of you. The stress of a bad car is known by all... I just hope I can come across something that will take me for another four years... like an 06 M6... yeah, that would do :)
